  1.         TopClock Notes    04/03/92

  3. TopClock is a Windows clock written in C using Turbo C++ 
  4. for Windows which will keep itself on the top level without 
  5. becoming the active window. It toggles between Time/Date mode 
  6. and StopWatch mode with a mouse click, and features Alarm 
  7. capability. As well it can be controlled using only the
  8. keyboard.
  9. --
  10. The clock is sensitive to the activity of a user designated
  11. Screen Saver, and will save Colors, Font and other settings
  12. when shut off, reading them in from a small file TopClock.Ini
  13. in the \Windows directory each time (after the first) the clock 
  14. is run.

  16. TopClock has the capability to be iconized/disabled. This
  17. is handy for those times when you're running CPU/Memory
  18. intensive tasks and don't want the overhead of the clock
  19. code slowing things down even more. Restoring the clock to
  20. normal size re-enables its functionality!

  22. TopClock is small, unobtrusive, practical, and, no flashing! 
  23. Help screens are available at runtime from TopClock's
  24. Config/Help Dialog, which can be brought up by double 
  25. clicking in the left quarter of the clock face.

  27. The Demo version of TopClock will run for 1 hour each time it 
  28. is invoked. The latest version without the 1 hour Demo limit 
  29. can be had by specifying preference of 3.5" or 5.25" floppy 
  30. and sending $15 to

  42. how to use TopClock. If you can't print the file don't worry, the first
  43. time you run TopClock the Help/Config Dialog will come up. Subsequently 
  44. the Help/Config Dialog can be brought up by double-clicking on the left
  45. side of TopClock's face, or by clicking on TopClock to make it active and
  46. then hitting the F1 or H key.
